YES! I WANT TO HELP SHELTER, EMPOWER AND SUPPORT WOMEN.
Breaking the cycle of domestic abuse through education, prevention & advocacy
Based in Montreal, Auberge Shalom offers diverse and comprehensive services for women and children who have been affected by intimate partner abuse.
Shelter
Our 12-bed Kosher shelter offers a safe haven to women and children fleeing intimate partner abuse. Counsellors provide emotional support and therapy; safety planning; advocacy and referrals to community resources.
External Services
A separate and distinct site from our shelter, the Carole & Andrew Harper Counselling Office offers counselling by appointment and support groups for women who have experienced conjugal abuse.
Supporting Resilience Program for Mothers, Youth & Children
Our children’s program offers counselling and parenting support for mothers along with specialized counselling for children and youth.
Specialized Services for the Orthodox Jewish Community
Provides education and sensitization on issues of spousal abuse in the orthodox Jewish Community along with individual and group counselling in discreet & confidential setting.
For over 35 years, Auberge Shalom has provided support to more than 12,000 women and children impacted by intimate partner abuse.
But it takes a village. Find out how you can help!
