Our mission

Auberge Shalom pour femmes is a Jewish community-based centre addressing the needs of all women and children whose lives have been affected by conjugal violence.

We provide a continuum of professional services in both a shelter setting and in an external counselling office.

All services are provided in a safe, confidential and supportive environment.

Our approach

Auberge Shalom pour femmes uses a trauma-informed approach. Working in a trauma-informed way means understanding the pervasive effects of trauma and violence and offering interventions that recognize the experiences of the women who receive our services. It is a highly collaborative & empowering approach.
